HOLA DE ESPAÑA (Hello from Spain) Here we are, Oct. 13th. Days away from our first flurries with leaves of all colors. Fall is here, winter is near and the stoke - o - meter for shred is burning a Coca-Cola red and rising. This last week we visited our Spanish alliance, Iñaki and our friends at GOI distribution - Pamplona, Spain. We have toured the Catalonia and Basque region over the last five days meeting new customers, new dealers and new friends. Here's some shops to keep your eye out for with 4FRNT this coming season. This shop is located in Barcelona. They have a magazine with their own employees that play cartoon characters. These guys know skis, style and the good life.

This is Celes and Poncho from Esports D'Hivern. A ski publication that also comes from an office that produces wind surfing. These guys are veterans and Poncho skis with the King.
David, Curro and Iñaki checking out the latest issue at Solo Nieve. These guys run a really strong freeski magazine in Spain, a rare and honest product. They will be the first magazine to publish a Pique action photo - thanks guys!

This is a really well known shop in Barcelona with an owner that also owns 4 other shops. They got all kinds of gear for different sports. The store photo inside is the same as the outside shot with the graffiti.
The Toy Factory posse out front their freeride ski shop in Barcelona. This is a fabulous shop with lots of riders signatures, photos and products. Super progressive and compliments to Fernando the owner for leading the freeride retail charge. The shop is a must stop for any freeride skier in Spain.
Corner store for Viladomat, a specialty retailer with over 14 shops in Andorra. Earlier this morning we did clinics and got everyone hyped. This corner store has a waterfall in it.
Iñaki in Kilvil, a boutique action sports store in Andorra that absolutely rules. This is the upstairs area and where the winter stuff gets put. Its beautiful inside with a really classy style.
Iñaki and Jordi, team 4FRNT Catalonia discussing that although Christopher Columbus was Italian, that Spain lending him the money for the voyage makes America truly Spanish and not Italian. The ski department at a Viladomat store in Andorra.
The owner of Elite Sport in Pamplona is also a World Champion Speed Skater. Freeride is on the rise and these boyz have the shop to make it happen in Pamplona.
GOI HQ, the view from the back corner the showroom to the left and stairwell downstairs to the warehouse. A super classy place to be in with great people.
This is the outside view of GOI distribution HQ. Pamplona. |
