Oppdal ”Powder”-edit

Howdy!

I leave for the Alps pretty soon to do some filming with Field Productions, hopefully we will find better (and more) snow there than we have back home in Oppdal.

Still it is possible to find some good snow, especially in the upper slopes in Vangslia. My buddy Tore Meirik, who works for Oppdal Ski Resort, hooked us up with a snowmobile-lift to the top (thanx to lift-manager Knut!), so we did this season´s first run down to the classic Skarbekkdalen ravine.

Despite having to dodge sharkfins and dealing with a rockhard landing, we managed to get some god turns. Tore filmed some shots with his Contour HD helemtcam, and made this little edit. I think he feels pretty lucky to finally get a chance to make a ski-edit with Neil Young music!

I guess the skiing and editing ain´t  too much to brag about, but this was the best we got today. That´s what so great about skiing; It´s always fun!

I will be stayng home in Oppdal the rest of this week, then it´s off to Central-Europe. And after Europe it is time for Alaska! Hopefully I will get time to update a little more often then.
