We have been striking out left and right recently. The storms diverged/don’t even develop, the sun comes out and it is 60 degrees, or ,and this is my favorite, it dumps 2ft right after we leave. But hey, that is life and thats why we love skiing, it ain’t easy but when you get it good, you appreciate it all the more.

The other day was able to get out entirely in FRONT of the camera.  It was a real treat not to lug around the film pack and only having to worry about skiing.  It was my first day out with the Powderwhores and we found some face smacking pow turns all day long.  Here is a 60 second clip from my point of view.

Episode two was a race against the holiday season as well as the wind.

Two early season storms brought significant snowfall, and after last year, I'm not wasting any opportunity to shred even if there are some rocks. -Weston

We have had an awesome start to the 12-13 season here in Utah.  With our 42" storm in October up North and now a 52" storm in the Cottonwoods, winter is here.  We got a new Drift HD Ghost and wanted to put it thru the wringer and see what the shots looked like.  So here is a short edit from the last three days. 

Like most in North America I have been dying to get out on snow.  It was a long, hot summer after a lack luster 2011-2012 season so I have itching for redemption.  I had been watching the weather insistently and tracking the storm as it rolled in.  Only problem was nearly every wave of the storm missed the central Wasatch.   I kept driving up to 10,000 ft hoping to see more flakes and precipitation but it never came to fruition.  In a depressed state of online weather addiction, I started to see reports of Northern Utah getting snow.  With a report that Powder Mountain got 30in of blower, w

Getting really amped for the snow to start falling and for turns to be made.  As we start gearing up for the second season of The Life Unbound we took a look at all our old footage and made a little edit.  Here is a quick 30second teaser of what we go.

Summer has been good and hot here in Utah.  The biking has been dusty and loose but fun non the less.  With dreams of winter around the corner, I put together a lil' edit of some shots from last year and some biking.  Is it snowing yet......?

A few weeks a go we took a trip up to the Sorcerer Lodge out of Golden, BC.  The trip was unreal, it was my first time skiing pillows-and I got my ass kicked, but man was it fun.  This is the final episode of the season for me, hopefully next year wont bring the worst season in 40 years like this one did.

No secret the winter in Utah has sucked pretty hard.  From the low snow conditions to the appalling avy conditions its been tough to get any work done.  But with a little bit of travel, a lot of hard work and some luck we managed to find some fun snow.  We traveled up to Oregon, then back to Utah and finished up the episode with a Park City Powder Cats excursion.  Check it out and let me know what you guys think!
